Hotel Block

We have a hotel block at the Country Inn & Suites in Long Island City for the nights of October 13 and 14! The hotel is about a 20 minute cab ride or 40 minute subway ride to the venue, and about a 20 minute subway trip into Manhattan. For subway, you can either walk to the G line at Court Square and get off at Broadway, or take the F train to Delancey Street, transfer to the J train, and get off at Marcy Ave.

 In order to receive the block rate, you should book online:

1. Go to www.countryinns.com
2. Click "More Options," to the left of the green search button.
3. In "Destination," type New York City.
4. Add the dates of your stay
5. In "Code or ID," enter 1710MANL . Then search.
6. The first option to show up should say "Manley-Silver Wedding."

For a King room, the block is $128.00 + tax per night. You can also upgrade by clicking on the "Upgrade Now" button. The upgrade is $145.00 + tax per night for a room with 2 Queen beds.

There are limited rooms in the block, so book early if you're interested!

Getting to NYC/Brooklyn

New York City is served by three main airports: Laguardia, JFK, and Newark. If you are staying in Queens, Laguardia is generally the most convenient to get to - we recommend taking a taxi to the hotel. There is a public transportation option but it is a hassle and tends to be out of the way. Newark is doable and has convenient public transit. JFK is generally the least convenient, but you can either take the A train or a taxi if you fly in there!

Getting Around NYC

NYC has a fantastic public transportation system. Each ride is $2.75, and you'll need to buy a Metrocard to get around. If you're traveling with a group, it may be easiest to put money on one card and have everyone swipe it one after the other! 

Taxis are also convenient, and Uber and Lyft are everywhere. They're great options for when the subway isn't a convenient option or not worth the hassle!

Valet Parking

If you decide to drive to the wedding instead of taking public transportation, free valet parking will be available for the duration of the ceremony and reception at the front of the venue on Broadway.
